TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR BASE FITNESS

HEALTH & SAFETY
​
*All members taking part in any of the classes, boot camps or one to one personal training sessions or virtual sessions must fill out a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire ( PAR-Q ) prior to attending any activity. Failure to do so will result in exclusion from activity without a refund unless cancellation is made 24 hours before start of event.
*All Participants in virtual sessions must agree to the Disclaimer before start of the event

*All PAR-Q's must be honestly answered yes or no.
​
*Any PAR-Q's with two or more yes answers will require the participant to see their GP to obtain a covering letter as proof they are fit and healthy enough to take part in our physical activity programmes.
​
*Any changes to physical health must be checked out by a Doctor before taking part or continuing in any of our activities.
​
*All participants are required to assess if they are able to complete the activities available before attending ie previous exercise experience, knowledge, sporting back ground. Failure to do so may result in a over programmed workout session & no refund unless cancellation is made at least 24 hours previously. *Due to any adverse weather conditions that may impact the health & safety of staff and/or participants, we reserve the right to cancel on the day of the event at our discretion.

SINGLE SESSIONS & BLOCK BOOKINGS
​
*Single sessions are a fixed price when booked online, a small charge will apply to any card payments made on the day.
​
*24 hours notice is required for a cancellation for a Single & block session to receive a refund or to postpone the spot for the following session.
​
*We reserve the right to refuse a late cancellation refund or postpone the spot due to covering costs for the session.
​
*Block bookings are sold with a discount
*Block bookings are non-refundable
*Block bookings have a 3 month expiry limit. sessions not used in that period will be lost and non refundable.
​
*BASE FITNESS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE PRICE OF BOTH SINGLE & BLOCK SESSIONS, ADD OR CHANGE MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS
*BASE FITNESS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO APPLY SPECIAL OFFERS.

Class pass and Gym Pass Members
Both class pass and gym pass memberships accepted for both boot camp and boxercise sessions only.
Base fitness reserve the right to cancel and change sessions, in accordance with out partners

Virtual Fitness
​
*Every session is the responsibility of the member taking part to ensure a safe working environment of 4 metres squared is available
​
*All members taking part in virtual sessions are responsible for making sure any equipment used is safe, fit for purpose & not a risk to personal injury. All fixtures & fittings must be checked on your personal equipment before use, for your own health & safety.

Personal Training
​
*Members must keep their trainer up to date of any new injuries or health concerns that may affect their training and/or make conditions worse
​
*Sessions must be completed within the time frame booked in. Turning up late for sessions will result in that time being deducted from your session
​

BEHAVIOUR & CONDUCT
​
*BASE FITNESS will not accept any form of abusive behaviour verbally and/or physically to staff or participants.
*Any such behaviour consisting of racial, sexual, physical will not be tolerated, and offenders will be asked to leave and banned from future BASE FITNESS events.
*We ask that you the participant follow exercise and drill instructions given by the instructor at all times.
*Suitable clothing must be worn for all events for example loose fitting clothes, T-shirt, Sweat shirts, Track suit bottoms, shorts, Trainers.

NO BARE FOOT OR OPEN TOE SHOES ALLOWED
*Please respect the school premises at all times during your visit, this includes any littering, damage to the property and equipment.
*Use of the facilities such as toilets are allowed and is expected to be left in the same condition prior to your use.
*BASE FITNESS ACCEPT NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR MISUSE OF EQUIPMENT WHICH WILL RESULT IN INJURY IF NOT CARRIED OUT AS INSTRUCTED.

PARKING AND PERSONAL POSSESSIONS
​
*Free limited parking is available during session time only and is subject to Harold Wood Primary schools permission.
*BASE FITNESS OR HAROLD WOOD PRIMARY SCHOOL ACCEPT NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR VEHICLE, THIS INCLUDES THEFT OR DAMAGE TO YOUR VEHICLE AND/OR POSSESSIONS KEPT WITHIN THE VEHICLE. USE OF YOUR VEHICLE IS AT YOUR DISCRETION.
*BASE FITNESS & HAROLD WOOD PRIMARY SCHOOL DO NOT PROVIDE ANY STORAGE FOR VALUABLES AND/OR OTHER POSSESSIONS OR TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR VALUABLES AND/OR POSSESSIONS YOU BRING WITH YOU. OUR ADVICE IS TO BRING ONLY WHAT YOU NEED FOR THE DURATION OF THE EVENT. WHAT YOU BRING IS UNDER YOUR DISCRETION
